The Art & Practice of Classical Ballet

Pointe ClassStudents entering the second grade are mentally and physically ready to begin the study of classical ballet.  As dancers progress from Ballet I to
Ballet VI, the number of classes per week increases and pointe, folk, contemporary dance and conditioning are offered.

All students participate in a school performance at the end of the year. From Ballet II, students have additional performance opportunities, and selected Ballet VI students have important parts in full-length OBT productions.
